Last updated: May 2026. TextAlerts.ai is operated by TKC Group. This policy explains what we collect, how connected apps and SMS data are handled, and the choices you have. It will be updated as the product leaves private beta.
Information we collect
- Account & contact details — name, email, and (if you provide it) phone number, so we can send you SMS alerts.
- Connected-app data — when you authorize an integration (Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, GitHub, Stripe, and similar), we access only the event data needed to evaluate and route alerts.
- Alert & reply activity — the alerts we send and the replies you make, which form your audit trail.
Connected apps & OAuth
Where an app supports it, we connect using OAuth so you can grant and revoke access without sharing passwords. We request the minimum scopes required to detect the events you’ve asked to be alerted about, and you can disconnect any integration at any time.
SMS & messaging
If you provide a phone number, we use it to deliver alerts by SMS and to process your reply commands. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP; we’ll fall back to web or email alerts.
How we use your data
We use your data to score alerts, deliver them, execute the actions you approve, and maintain your audit log. We do not sell your data, and we do not use the contents of your connected apps for advertising.
Data retention
We follow a minimal-retention principle: we keep alert and reply records for as long as your account is active, and we delete or anonymize data when you close your account or disconnect a source, subject to legal obligations.
Security
We protect data with OAuth-based access where available, encrypted transport, role-based access patterns, and minimal data-retention practices. We do not currently claim SOC 2, HIPAA, or end-to-end encryption; we’ll update this page if and when such certifications or architectures are in place.
